When the garage temperature drops below 37°F, the compressor stops running — and the interior drops to the ambient temperature. At -20°F, everything in the refrigerator freezes solid. The solution is a garage kit (available for most refrigerator brands) that fools the thermostat into running the compressor even in extreme cold.
Yes — 6 days a week year-round, including during polar vortex events. Refrigerator emergencies receive same-day priority regardless of weather conditions. We don't suspend service during Minnesota winters.
The fee covers travel, arrival, and full appliance diagnostic inspection. It is applied toward your repair cost if you proceed. If you decide not to proceed, you owe only the service call fee.

Yes — this is a common Minnesota appliance call. Dryer vent flaps accumulate moisture-laden lint during the wet fall season. When temperatures drop sharply, this moisture freezes and can seal the flap shut. The dryer overheats, the thermal safety fuse blows, and the dryer stops. We check vent flap condition and icing on every winter dryer not-heating call.
